My wife and I are just completing a 2 year renovation on our Louisville home. During that period of time we have dealt with dozens of contractors and I recently realized that while I was quick to post negative reviews for the contractors we had problems with, I wasn't quite as diligent in recognizing those that met or exceeded our expectations. We had a bathroom added to our basement by Tom Sondergeld Plumbing. Their estimate was fair, they showed up when they said they would, and they did quality work. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs

We had a commercial water heater installed. They had a really big and inconvenient job with issues from flooding. No elevator, cramped workspace, a lot of stuff to move. I was impressed that the team was so nice and kept a great attitude through the entire day. My staff commented on it multiple times also. We’ve never had that experience with a vendor, it’s usually the opposite like we’re a big inconvenience in the face of an emergency. We were just really happy with it. Have been really solid so far.

Justin showed up on time, was very professional and solved my problem quickly. The company is transparent and I knew exactly what he was doing at each step. Great local business. Highly recommended.

They were able to send someone out same day I called! I explained to Josh the toilet issues ( waterline leaking from wall , something wrong inside tank) he looked at it and knew exactly how to fix. And he also installed my New kitchen faucet. Very nice polite person. Thanks Josh!

We purchased a new dishwasher and washing machine at Lowe's 3/21. When delivery came, found valves corroded, could not turn off. Never used plumbing, here 15 yrs. Justin came and gave us info. We also asked re the dishwasher so 1 trip could cover all possibilities. Justin said the washer valves were not leaking and in order to update would require major wall cutting much work. Upon cking under sink for turn off. It was tight so we said, fix, so no issues later. Justin was very direct in what steps we could take. Also advising what we needed to do. It was a very satisfying experience and we felt trust in the whole trip. Thanks for the response and customer service. I will refer people to this company because I feel we can trust and depend on Sondergeld. Thanks.

Very friendly and they do supreme work

The office was extremely pleasant and kept me informed of the arrival of the plumber. The water heater was installed in a way that gave me more room in the laundry room and I never asked for it. And my house was as clean as when they found it. I would highly recommended Tom Sondergeld Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. Excellent job.

Adding a shampoo bowl to my existing bath and body shop is financially life changing for me, so choosing the right plumber mattered more than I can explain. Tom is my ex-husband and I usually keep my personal life personal, but when I decided to add my second business, I knew I couldn’t trust anyone else with something this important. He understood exactly what I was looking for from day one, got my permits submitted quickly without wasting any time, and kept everything moving. His crew showed up on time every single day, worked their butts off, and literally wiped the floors as they backed out the door. Some people may assume it was special treatment, but the crew had no idea we were family. That level of professionalism, pride, and work ethic is clearly just how they operate. A+ service and absolutely 5 stars.

Water line leak. Called TSP and they scheduled me immediately. MSD and LGE wanted them to wait another five days but TSP came anyway. They located the leak, dug to China with as little lawn disturbance as possible, repaired the line and kept me informed the whole time. Very professional. Mike Pich was the plumber on site. Good man.

My garbage disposal went bad and started leaking heavily under the sink. They were able to come out as soon as possible to get it replaced and the guys who came to fix it were very professional and quick to fix the problem! Highly recommend!

TSP Plumbing is amazing! I called them at 10am Saturday and they were at my house 30 minutes later. They were fast and professional! I highly recommend TSP 🙂

My sump pump in the basement was giving off an awful smell, along with bath water draining out into my backyard instead of through the sewer line. I had three different plumbing companies out to try and figure out what the problem was, and what needed to be done to fix it. Each one told me what they "thought" it might be, but couldn't give me a definitive answer. My neighbor recommended I call Tom Sondergeld plumbing. Tom came out and was able to diagnose the problem, as well as give me a price for the job right then and there. Two weeks later, two of his employees came out to my house and were able to fix it. The issue was a cracked cast iron pipe below the basement floor. One plumbing company told me I'd have to have all the plumbing re-ran and would be somewhere in the range of $2-$3000. That wasn't even the issue, and after it was all said and done it cost me less than $900. I am very impressed with this company, and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I was having some issues with my garbage disposal, and they were able to get in very quick, they were extremely professional and got right to work, the two men that came were in and out and everything worked perfectly after. Brittany, who helped on the phone was also extremely professional and was extremely attentive. Highly recommend !

I called this company out of desperation to help my mom who was in a REALLY bad spot to the point she wasn’t able to be in her home. Everyone else around us kept telling us it was a septic issue and quoted us $30K. Another plumber volunteered some effort and then disappeared. I finally called Josh and his crew came out to look at job. Everyone we encountered along the way was knowledgeable and took their time explaining everything to my family (ALL my family!) They were professional, personable, and kind to my mom throughout the whole process. They were able to fix 2 seriously clogged pipes, 1 spot located underground in the crawl space, and installed a new cleanout. They showed up on time and stayed till the job was done. It wasn’t a cheap repair but my mom is back in her home and it was penny’s compared to the stress & threat of 30K! That’s priceless. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

TSP we're great people to work with. I had a leak in my line going to the house and had to turn water off at the meter every time we flushed or showered, what a pain. Even though it was New Years Eve, Jim and Darrell came out in the afternoon and dug that line up and repaired the leak. I had a great time with those two guys they were a lot of fun and I couldn't believe they would do that. I thought the price was reasonable too they kept me from having to manually shut off the water during that 4-day weekend and we really appreciate it. Our thanks to Jim, Darrell, Mark, Kim and everybody else I dealt with.

My water heater was leaking and they came within a couple of hours, took the old one out & reinstalled the new one. Friendly, courteous, professional. I didn't have to be without hot water at all! Thanks guys!

Very clean, organized and professional staff

I recently used this company for repairs on my older home. I can’t say enough good things about these guys every contact from scheduling an estimate, the estimate, and repairs - EVERYONE I had contact with was wonderful, super nice and very experienced. I expected some issues to arise just from having an older home but they knew what to do and where to look for ‘those’ parts. I would recommend them highly and will use again and again. We had a busted pipe. Leaked water all in the laundry room, under the walls and down through the basement ceiling. Did I mention this was Christmas Eve afternoon on the coldest weekend in my lifetime? I called Tom Sondergeld’s emergency line and Mike answered the call. He came right out and fixed us up! Very professional and efficient. He saved our Christmas weekend. Give him MVP and employee of the year!

I recently had a need for a plumber to help with a kitchen sink leak. The care and concern from this group was amazing. I could not be there during the repairs. The technician Kenneth called me a couple times to update me on the progress. I also received a call from the service manager. What a great experience!!!! We had a leak in the expansion tank on the water heater which flooded the basement. After calling 7 other plumbers, they were the only company that answered their phone. They scheduled our service right away. The service men that came out were great! They were very efficient and professional. Because of this, we asked them to get us some quotes on other work we need to have done. We will only use Tom Sondergeld Plumbing as our plumber from now on.
